As a Sourcing Specialist I am responsible for the management of procurement activity within the claims category, currently working on the Motor Claims supply chain. I will work closely with the Claims business areas to provide professional procurement input and provide market insight into projects and contract renewals. The extent of support provided will vary, however will cover all aspects of the procurement process from spend analysis and market evaluation to contract creation, negotiation and award. Key Responsibilities - Lead key parts of sourcing deals - Support the development of claims sourcing strategy and supplier account plans with the input of analysis and insight- Research sourcing solutions and best practice and lead initiatives to drive ongoing evolution of tools and processes to improve performance and deliver specific cost variables- Own key supplier relationships relevant to the customer if applicable, including issue resolution, driving supplier performance and direction, support
