ABOUT TREVOR HORNE
I am an environment, health & safety professional with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Brigham Young University – Idaho. I hold the GSP, OSHA 30 General Industry and Construction Safety certifications, HAZWOPER 40, and various FEMA and AHA credentials. My coursework provided a broad knowledge base and hands on experience in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Industrial Fire Safety, Hazardous Materials Management, Sanitation and Water Quality, Accident Investigation and Prevention, Emergency Management, and Construction Safety. During the various real world experiences I\'ve gained in EHS, I developed and implemented Lockout/Tagout procedures in globally used software, and participated in Initial Root Cause and Process Hazard Analysis. My relevant experience also includes managing fire safety systems and hot work permits, testing fire suppression systems, performing fire extinguisher maintenance, transporting hazardous waste, and filing workers\' compensation claims. I am fluent in Spanish due to volunteer work of 2 years spent in the beautiful country of Perú! I am always excited for the opportunity to be a part of building a strong safety culture in order to help keep people safe and reduce company costs!
