ABOUT TREVOR G.

Currently looking for a position as a software engineer / data scientist / web or app developer.Alumni of the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) with an masters in computer science, and dual bachelors in math and computer science. Graduated Summa Cum Laude and as a member of both UAH\'s Honors College and in the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. In my undergrad, I concentrated in data science and continued taking courses such as numerical optimization in my graduate program.My work experience is varied, as I have held several positions concurrently. I performed research under Dr. Joshua Booth as a Research Assistant at UAH – starting in the summer of 2021, working until I graduated in May 2024 and culminating in a publication (https://arxiv.org/abs/24•••••43). I also worked as a Product Development Software Engineer at Zebra Technologies for the summer of 2022, where I initiated the configuration of a static code analysis tool into Zebra\'s development pipeline. In addition to my technical roles, I held positions as an Honors Community Leader and a Resident Assistant, which allowed me to develop strong interpersonal skills, collaborate effectively in team settings, and take on leadership responsibilities.In my free time, I perform at weddings on the cello, volunteer regularly with a local church, and do some weightlifting at the gym. When I am in my hometown during the summer, I like to surf as well.
