As Operations Training Manager, I lead and support a variety of training initiatives that span multiple departments and roles. I manage and facilitate onboarding for newly hired Construction Managers and newly promoted Certified Field Trainers. As a Certified CliftonStrengths Coach, I deliver coaching and development sessions focused on strengths-based growth. I also facilitate programs on topics such as coaching and time management. In collaboration with my team, we coordinate and support the logistics for all operations training programs, including new hire training for Sales Consultants, Construction Managers, and Customer Care Managers.

Hello! I am Trevor Dum and my passion is to help others become effective in their existing roles, and achieve their goals for growth in our company. I love nothing more than seeing others have their lightbulb moments in learning, coaching, and mentoring.My passion for personal development started in college when I got involved in our student run orientation program Boiler Gold Rush. It became clear to me early on that I truly enjoy being around like-minded individuals that are interested in supporting others reach their potential.I\'ve had a few roles at PulteGroup, all of which have allowed me to grow as an individual and an employee. During my time in the field, I managed the construction of over 200 homes and relationships with over 200 homeowners. Not sure which I liked more - I enjoyed the routine of building homes but also the connections made with customers over the years.Whether in college or at work, I\'ve always enjoyed the world of training and development. This space has allowed me to operate within my strengths. My top strengths from CliftonStrengths are Deliberative, Focus, Restorative, Analytical, and Consistency. These strengths allow me to be a thoughtful problem-solver, and natural sounding board for developing ideas. I use these strengths every day when instructing new hires during our workshops, or helping others become more effective coaches.Balancing, or maybe integrating, work and life is very important to me. When I\'m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Annalise. We like movies, games, puzzles, the outdoors, and being with friends and family. It\'s safe to say I\'m the sports fan in the family - anything with the Boilermakers especially. I\'m kind of on an island as a sports fan here, there\'s not many Indianapolis Colts or Atlanta Braves fans to be found here in Chicago-land. We also enjoy filling our time on house projects. We\'ve done some renovations around the house, typically with my own handy-work. Flooring, paint, cabinets, a barn door, you name it we will try it and make our house our own - this is the second home we\'ve done this to! My homeowner\'s always laughed when I said I\'d leave a day of work overseeing their house being built, only to go home to my own and keep the renovations or projects moving!
