ABOUT TREVOR CUMMINGS

I am an equal share owner and partner of Emergency Care Specialists which is the largest independent physician owned emergency medicine practice group in West Michigan. I am a practicing Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician at a level-one trauma center that receives over annual visits. My career focus includes advancing population health, care/clinical pathway development, and integration of technology and informatics in healthcare. My clinical expertise pertains to emergency medicine, observation medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and sedation. I serve in multiple leadership positions both for our group and the hospital system. I am a member of the promotional speaker’s bureau and work as a consultant for multiple pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Graduate of Michigan State University, Wayne State Medical School, and Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners (GRMEP). Professional leadership experience: Medical Director, Education/Fellowship Direction, Cardiovascular Liaison/Chest Pain Center Medical Director, Provider Informaticist, Director of Informatics, Department Chair for Emergency Medicine, and service on multiple committees both for the hospital system and emergency medical practice group.
