ABOUT TREVOR BRIDGES

In my 25+ years of international and U.S. experience, as both external counsel and in-house counsel, I have advised multinational companies through complex litigation, regulation, and investigations. I have led large, cross-functional teams of in-house counsel and executives, external lawyers, consultants, and experts to successfully protect and expand the business.I am an experienced litigator in state and federal courts throughout the United States, as well jurisdictions around the world, who has successfully developed strategy and defended corporate clients in hundreds of disputes throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the United States.For most of my career, my focus has been the defense of complex litigation, including consumer protection and fraud class actions, Attorneys General actions, Multidistrict Litigation, reimbursement lawsuits (healthcare cost recovery claims filed by governments and insurers), competition and antitrust cases, employment and labor claims, and personal injury product and premises liability claims. I have been responsible for projects involving risk assessment and mitigation, internal investigations, data protection and privacy, document management, public policy, and financial reporting. Lately, my focus has been helping companies obtain regulatory approval for new products. This involves submissions to regulators and engagement with same. In my role, I also advise on litigation, inquiries, and investigations, as well as supporting governmental affairs, quality, and scientific research. I have been seconded to companies (Fortune 100, FMCG, CPG) on multiple occasions to act as part of their in-house legal team at their global headquarters. In these roles, I advised senior management, R&D, corporate affairs, central and regional legal functions, and market-level business units. In my various roles, I have worked extensively with outside counsel. I have interviewed, hired, and managed a network of 75+ outside national counsel firms throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the United States. I have conducted over a dozen multi-day training seminars for large groups of lawyers (25+), including new in-house lawyers and outside counsel.
