ABOUT TRESSIA ALLARD
I am an emerging museum and heritage professional currently beginning a PhD in Museum and Heritage Studies in relation to legacies of slavery with funding from ArtUK at the University of St Andrews. I completed a MLitt Museum and Heritage Studies degree at University of St Andrews. My academic foundation at Sarah Lawrence College in History and Art History and a year at University of Leeds studying Classics & Archaeology has prepared me for the next step of my career.My knowledge spans visitor services, education programs, and archival management, rooted in a strong research background. I’ve embraced “hidden” histories and enhanced visitor engagement, aspiring to make heritage spaces more inclusive and representative of diverse histories.
