About Trenton Pierson
With more than a decade of experience in marketing across apparel, gaming and venture capital, my career has taken an inspiring turn: I’m now a substance use counselor working toward my private practice licensure. In this role, I provide expert care and support to people with substance use disorders, creating tailored treatment plans and walking alongside them on their journey to recovery. This work has deepened my appreciation for human resilience and affirmed my belief in the power of empathy. My marketing roots are still thriving, too. I consult on projects ranging from launching new product brands to designing influencer marketing campaigns. I love helping founders craft authentic stories, build creator communities, and drive impact through meaningful partnerships. Leveraging influencers’ reach and credibility can create real connections and spark conversations that move the needle for brands.Previously, I served as Sr. Influencer Marketing Manager at ZAM, where I led world-class campaigns and helped apparel brands bridge into the gaming sphere. I’ve had the privilege to work with incredible teams—supporting licensing efforts, integrating celebrities, athletes and influencers, and spearheading merchandise and marketing initiatives. These experiences taught me how to amplify voices and build community, skills that translate beautifully into my counseling work. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me coaching my sons’ baseball and lacrosse teams, traveling, or supporting local businesses. I love meeting new people over a (virtual or IRL) cup of coffee, so feel free to DM me and let’s connect!Competencies include: marketing strategy and execution, project management, sales and ecommerce, strategic planning and data analysis, budgeting, onboarding, sales goals, RFPs, risk management, corporate presentations, and now—client-centered counseling and advocacy.
