As a Senior Footwear Designer for Puma\'s Ambassador Team, I have the privilege of working alongside side our Ambassadors team design lead to design footwear for global icon Rihanna, with a focus on her Fenty brand. My role requires a unique blend of creativity, strategy, and collaboration, ensuring that each product not only reflects Puma\'s brand identity but also authentically embodies Rihanna\'s personal style and the Fenty ethos.Key Responsibilities:Footwear Design Conceptualization: Create innovative footwear designs that blend Puma\'s performance-driven aesthetic with Rihanna\'s bold, fashion-forward vision.Color Story Development: Curate seasonal color palettes and materials, translating Rihanna’s unique style into cohesive, on-brand product collections.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with overseas development teams, ensuring seamless execution of design concepts from idea to final product.Brand Integration: Navigate the balance of Puma\'s brand initiatives with the Fenty brand, ensuring both are represented authentically in every product.Creative Direction: Lead the design direction for all footwear launches, working alongside marketing, sales, and creative teams to ensure alignment with broader brand strategies.Skills & Expertise:Color & Material Design: Deep understanding of color theory and material selection, ensuring products feel fresh, on-trend, and premium.Storytelling & Conceptual Design: Skilled at translating brand narratives into visual concepts that speak to the target audience.Graphic Design & Visual Communication: Proficient in graphic design, using design tools to bring footwear concepts to life through detailed sketches, prototypes, and digital renderings.Leadership & Collaboration: Experience working with diverse teams across design, production, and marketing to deliver high-quality products on time.
