The work is cross-functional and involves spending a lot of time with vendors, IT people and department leaders. Projects have included helping the Credentialing Service Bureau implement a new document management tool and Comprehensive Care Advocacy transition to a web-based application system.The Strategic Initiatives team is part of the Improvement Integration department under the Health & Care Engagement Division. The team has operational control and decision-making responsibility related to the HealthPartners health plan, and is tasked with project management, strategy and growth for initiatives going out as far as three to five years. Current strategies include health care affordability, cost savings and health equity.
