As the accounting specialist, I play roles on both the accounts receivables side and the accounts payables side. Tasks included are:• Weekly Statements to customers for collections on past due invoices. • Applying customer payments via ACH and Checks. • Scheduling and making payments to carriers via ACH and checks. • Updating carrier payment information (Including NOA, LOR, etc.).• Responsible for month end process, closing out each month and inputting final monthly data into QuickBooks. • Responsible for using QuickBooks data to update monthly budget. • Taking phone calls regarding payment status and payments already made.
