About Terry Redican
Terry is Vice President of AP Program Delivery. He is responsible for managing the Advanced Placement Program\'s annual cycle, ensuring the delivery of opportunity to nearly 3 million students across high schools world-wide. From the AP Teacher Course Audit and School Exam Ordering processes to the AP Reading and Online Score Reporting for Students and Educators, Terry and his team take the exams administered each year and their supporting processes from start to finish. Terry is responsible for the development and management of numerous digital products used by students, teachers, and school administrators to interact with the College Board, including the AP Digital Portfolio, the AP Teacher Community, AP Potential, and the AP Order Management platform. He also oversees AP\'s Educator Support function, including AP Consultant recruitment, endorsement, and management and the staffing of Professional Development workshops and independently-run AP Summer Institutes.Terry is also responsible for a portfolio of projects that are intended to modernize AP processes and better engage Program stakeholders, including initiatives such as the retirement of antiquated technology for AP World Language exams and the introduction of Online Distributed Scoring capabilities to increase educator access to the AP Reading. Terry is also the executive sponsor for the AP Computer Science Principles course, which debuted as the largest new course in AP history with students in 2017. He studied Computer Information Systems at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Terry and his wife live in Reston, VA and their 5 children attend Fairfax County Public Schools. Terry received a \"Best of Reston\" award in 2018 from Cornerstones and the Reston Chamber of Commerce for his volunteer work in the local community as a youth coach and administrator across multiple youth sports leagues.
