I am aspiring data scientist that loves data who is looking to learn, grow and add as much value to a company as possible with my 1.5yrs of co-op experience in data analytics. I have helped companies improve their technical communication channels throughout the department through technical documentation by 20% and created a python solution that saved the company in employee workflow.An example of this would include: As a Jr. Data Analyst coop at American Airlines, I worked on the Technical Operation department where I documented SQL, R, and Python scripts that referenced databases that were frequently used within the department. This documentation process helped provide insight to the department individuals who were on call when something broke automation wise and they quickly needed to know what data was missing were and what database needs to be modified to correct the issue. Overall, this documentation processed resulted in a 20% quicker troubleshooting resolution time. As a Jr. Data Analyst coop at American Airlines I co-developed a LSTM Machine Learning multi-classification model that was used to identify ATA Classification codes from mechanics maintenance text log descriptions using the NLP method that resulted in Tech-Ops and American Airlines saving roughly per year by improving job efficiency of data entry positions within Tech-Ops by 50%. Im really excited about graduating May 2023 as I will finally get to take the next step in my young data scientist career and help provide maximum value to one lucky company and their fellow team members.
