My current focus is creating out of the box innovative solutions to automation, build, CI/CD, and infrastructure problems. Currently automating a reporting system for our data engineering group to decrease delivery time by orders of magnitude, and increase throughput of our data engineers by 5-8x.Previously automated data-center migrations, and build/CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing/approval gates, and moved from a bare-metal/VM centric system to a container-based microservice system with infrastructure-as-code principles. Before that I worked with a mixture of Linux/Solaris ZFS, 3PAR, NexSan, Brocade, Hitachi, and Isilon to create highly available, highly scalable, cost effective solutions for Ancestry.com\'s data protection needs.
