I have established myself as an accomplished and high performing executive with substantial Product Management, Services, and Strategy development and execution backgrounds. I am experienced in applying deep expertise in advanced analytics (AI and Machine Learning), business intelligence, data mining, statistics, and consulting to solve members of the C-suite’s most significant challenges. Currently I am responsible for Genus R&D’s Scientific Informatics organization and the Biosystems Engineering organization. For Scientific Informatics, I am primarily focused on setting the company’s data strategy for R&D and Product Development while championing the role of data and analytics across the company. This team is spearheading groundbreaking development, technology implementation, and strategic industry partnerships across the organization, while heading up the delivery of data management solutions, seamless data integration, and analytic capabilities to benefit internal and external stakeholders. For Biosystems Engineering, I am focused on delivering the IntelliGen Sexing Technologies Gen 2.2 and 2.3 instruments, advancements in Microfluidic chip technologies, innovative Electrical engineering approaches to complex capabilities, user workflow software to run the IntelliGen instrument, and the Research Lab Team to conduct experiments and testing of our Engineering and Biological capabilities. I report directly to the Chief Scientific Officer with dotted line reporting to the Chief Information Officer.Prior to joining the Agricultural Biotech sector in early 2021, I had amassed 20 years of healthcare industry experience covering multiple verticals, with 17 years of proficiency in analytics and artificial intelligence on various platforms. I have a proven history of starting and incubating new businesses and developing breakout innovations as well as successfully growing and scaling run rate businesses; all while winning a half-dozen distinguished awards along the way. While at GE, I completed GE’s prestigious Crotonville Executive Leadership training.

Fully accountable for both the Scientific Informatics and Biosystems Engineering departments in Genus’s Research and Development organization.• Scientific Informatics encompasses data acquisition, data engineering, data science, development of analytics applications, the data catalog, high performance computing, and Genus’s hybrid data mesh platform.• Biosystems Engineering encompasses the research, development, prototyping, alpha instrument builds, and R&D verification for the IntelliGen Technologies Semen Sexing Instrument, which includes microfluidic chips, enhanced y-skew capabilities, electrical engineering, system engineering, mechanical engineering, and software engineering. All of which are supported by a world-class biology-focused Research Lab Team.• Implemented and grew the number of data sources using our hybrid, cloud agnostic Data Mesh framework to over 50 unique sources, currently manage over 3 million genotypes for Bovine and Porcine, maintain real world data sets on over 24 million animals, and leverage data from more than 4,700 farms globally for Product Development and commercial applications.• Delivered the Gen 2.2 IntelliGen Technologies semen sexing instrument to IntelliGen/ ABS Production and third-party customers demonstrating increases in purity, output, and overall efficiency including an 140% increase in Y-skew output as compared to the previous generation instrument. The Gen 2.2 will deliver £50M of revenue in FY25 alone and comes with a robust, fully automated data pipeline providing Genus and ABS with telemetry to all instruments globally.• Delivered a fully CFR 21 Part 11 compliant system for the PRRS Resistant Pig NAD submission with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in November 2024 for more than a dozen systems regulated by the FDA.• Grew the Genus Data Catalog to visits by 200+ users with curation events and queries executed from the platform since its inception in late 2021.
