Leads and supervises a team of engineers as they develop, test and modify solutions for problems as related to inspection and repair recommendations of military and commercial fuel tanks and pipelines.• Manages a diverse team of approximately 10 engineers and technicians located in offices across the United States• Responsible for coordinating the activities and schedules of the team members and subcontractors to ensure that EEI provides the most appropriate personnel on each project• Helps to recommend and specify specialized equipment needed by the MI Department and EEI to execute inspection and integrity projects• Maintains database of EEI inspection and integrity equipment, including advanced non-destructive examination (NDE) equipment to ensure that EEI is on the cutting edge of inspection technologies and able to effectively support our Clients with their integrity management challenges• Develops and manages yearly budget for the MI Team, which includes key performance metrics and expected expenditures, and presents on the performance of the team to the EEI Board of Directors and Shareholders• Manages several concurrent integrity management and inspection projects ranging from a few thousand dollars up to several hundred thousand dollars, successfully delivering them while focusing on client relationships and increasing cost efficiencies• Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring projects such as preparation of records of expenditures and research findings, progress reports to inform management of current status of each project and enhance profitability.• Develops and maintains quality management documentation to ensure that deliverables developed by the MI Department meet or exceed Client requirements
