With over 20 years of experience in military operations and international inspection, I am a seasoned professional in the field of chemical and explosive ordnance disposal and detection. As a former Inspector and Chemical Weapons Munition Specialist at the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), I conducted inspections at various sites, using approved equipment and protocols, and prepared reports in accordance with the Chemical Weapons Convention and Quality Systems Documentation.I also served as a Non-Destructive Evaluation Portfolio Manager and Project Manager, coordinating and delivering training for the Organization on various techniques and equipment. Additionally, I have extensive experience as a commander and operator of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Team with the Canadian Forces, where I led a team responsible for responding to and neutralizing explosive threats on a national and international level, liaising and coordinating with civilian and military authorities, and providing explosive threat and intelligence analysis for operations planning. I hold multiple certifications and qualifications in radiation safety, hazardous waste operations, and explosive ordnance disposal, among others.I am passionate about making a strong impact in making the world a better and safer place, and I feel grateful that I have been able to develop a career that has allowed me to grow through continuous change and engaging challenges. I have a clear, logical mind with a practical approach to problem-solving and a drive to see things through to completion. I excel in high-stress environments and enjoy working on my own initiative or in a team.
