   Provides technical guidance to Network Operations Center and Project Engineering group on best practices for integrating new and existing systems that are properly STIGd and configured into the DoD networking environment. Provides technical guidance on the operation and maintenance of firewalls, IPS/IDS, and Content Filtering. Works closely with Host Based Security System (HBSS) Administrators and support the HBSS and ePO environment. Makes changes to the security infrastructure in accordance with IAVA’s and security best practices. Works under the Direction of Joint Task Force-Bravo Information Assurance Manager (IAM) to plan, develop, implement, and provide training to ensure the confidentiality integrity, and availability of automated systems and networks. Coordinates and maintains the Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) as well as onsite indcident handling. Closely coordinates with US SOUTHCOM Cyber Security to ensure agency compatibility and to recommend priorities for strategic planning and implementation. Integrates organizational input and documentation in developing the JTF-B IT Plans and revises and maintains inputs to the JTF-B Commander on current Cyber Posture and DoD Cyber Security Events.
