At Pandora, this resulted in me managing a team of 14 engineers for roughly one year until a new manager could be hired.* Led a team that was responsible for Pandora’s catalog and content service which served content metadata and audio to listeners to 5 million concurrent listeners per day.* As a technical lead at Pandora, I led a group of engineers in building a service that matched content coming in from music labels to Pandora’s legacy catalog, utilizing audio fingerprinting and machine learning with human feedback to maximize match accuracy. This enabled us to ensure we paid labels and publishers accurately and also ensured the existing recommendation algorithms could recommend the best music for listeners.
