Upon leaving the BOC Engineering Graduate Programme, I have taken up a position as Facility Manager on the BOC Brinsworth ASU and NLU.In this role I manage a team of facility engineers in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the plants and associated machinery/equipment, including the customer pipelines and tanker filling system.This role entails- Working with the Remote Operating Centre to ensure efficient and continuous operation- Planning, co-ordinating and creating Safe Systems of Work for the various maintenance activities and shutdowns- Developing the site team- Managing site engineering projects and working with the various engineering departments- Ensuring the site complies with company standards and industry safety legislation.

ABOUT TRAVIS PEARSON
Currently, I am working as the Facility Manager on the BOC Brinsworth Air Separation (ASU) plant. Prior to this role, I was on the BOC Engineering Graduate Programme completing numerous roles across different departments. I previously graduated with a First Class honours Masters degree in Chemical Engineering with Energy and Environment from the University of Manchester. During my time at university I was also the Captain and General Secretary of the University of Manchester Rugby League team.
