Throughout my 16 years of work experience, I have served in a variety of roles within the retail industry, starting as a freight associate and working my way up to store manager along with frequent stints as interim District Manager. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience in various aspects of retail operations, including visual merchandising, inventory management, shrink mitigation, and omni channel communication.As a freight associate, I was responsible for receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring that the store\'s inventory was accurately accounted for and organized in a way that maximized sales. This role taught me the importance of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.As I progressed in my career, I took on roles that allowed me to showcase my strengths in visual merchandising. I have a keen eye for design and a knack for creating visually appealing displays that attract customers and drive sales. I understand the importance of presenting products in a way that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional, and I consistently strive to create displays that showcase the store\'s merchandise in the best possible light.In addition to visual merchandising, I have also developed strong skills in inventory management and shrink mitigation. I have experience conducting regular inventory counts, identifying discrepancies, and implementing strategies to reduce shrinkage.Furthermore, I have a strong background in omni channel communication, which involves coordinating sales and marketing efforts across multiple platforms, including online and in-store. I understand the importance of creating a seamless shopping experience for customers, whether they are browsing products in person or online.
