As a co-founder of devfluence.io and Open Data Durban, I am dedicated to closing the gap between higher education and the workplace and fostering civic engagement through data-driven decision-making. In my role, I excel at managing engineering teams and leading projects to success, underpinned by a commitment to creating collaborative environments and a culture of continuous improvement. My technical expertise spans across various technologies such as C#, Python, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, and React. A notable highlight was in 2016 in Oman, where I led a series of year-long projects to a successful conclusion. My leadership and the mentoring sessions I hosted for the team were instrumental in this success, culminating in every team member being promoted at least once, a testament to our collective achievement and growth. As an active member of the tech community, I have also mentored students at Durban University of Technology and shared insights at conferences like Agile Africa.
