ABOUT TRAVIS DAHNA
I am an Electrical Systems DER/UM/CVE with over 33 years of experience in aircraft certification and electrical systems design. I have extensive knowledge and authority in 14 CFR Part 23 and 25 regulations, as well as HIRF, EMC, Bonding, IEL, DEL (Structures, Mechanical, & Powerplant) and EWIS requirements. I have worked on hundreds of project, from TC, STC, PMA, and TSOA. I also actively support major repairs and major alterations for various aircraft models and systems.As a principal engineer, I support the development and review of compliance reports, test procedures, installation instructions, and other documentation required for FAA TC/ATC/STC/ASTC projects. I also provide FAA consultant DER/UM/CVE services and collaborate with other FAA DERs, unit members, and ODA holders. My mission is to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of aircraft systems and equipment, and to facilitate the certification process for my clients and partners.
