ABOUT TRAVIS BARTEE

Travis is a Sr. Vice President, Senior Wealth Strategist for the East Region of US Bank Private Wealth Management where he works with UHNW clients in Nashville, New York, Charlotte, and Atlanta to implement planning strategies to fulfill clients’ wealth preservation, wealth transfer, investment and philanthropic goals. Prior to transitioning to wealth management, he practiced law specializing in taxation, estate planning, asset protection, entertainment, contract and corporate law. As part of his practice he drafted complex estate planning documents to fulfill client’s goals. He counseled clients on wealth preservation, asset protection, and contractual issues. He is admitted to the U.S. Tax Court and to practice before the IRS.He earned his B.A. from the University of Alabama, his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law, and is earning a Master of Arts in Music Management from Berklee College of Music. He is a member of the Country Music Association, the Middle Tennessee Estate Planning Council, National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (Accredited Estate Planner designation) and the WO Smith School of Music. He was a member of the WO Smith School of Music BOD, the University of Alabama Federal Tax Clinic, Inc, 2003-14, the Financial & Estate Planning Council of Huntsville, Alabama (President 2014, 2010, Vice President 20••••10, 2013, Secretary-Treasurer, 20••••09, and 2012, Member, Board of Directors 20••••15), the Huntsville Hospital Foundation Development Council 20••••14.
