I joined the Royal Navy when I left school at 15 as a marine engineer, then after I left I have worked in the corporate world in many industries including, boat building, hospitality, seafood, construction and healthcare, before my wife and I started our own businesses. We finally ended up with a branding company, and after 15 years we were introduced to this travel business. Now this is all we do, because it gives us the freedom we wanted to travel and work from anywhere and when we wanted, no set hours, total flexibility.When our children were small, I was suddenly made redundant from one of the seafood companies, which came out of the blue, it was a total shock and we weren\'t prepared for it.
