ABOUT TRANG TRAN

Health care is my industry of expertise, but problem solving is my passion. Opportunities that excite me most are ones where I can apply skills from previous experiences and combine those skills with intellectual curiosity to solve an entirely new problem. Each new problem is like an alluring puzzle; like sudoku or the New York Times crossword.I’m very detail oriented and analytical, which I attribute to my STEM background. Likewise, I’m highly organized and logical yet flexible in approaching problems. I like to gather as much information as possible on a topic and weigh all the options before coming to a decision. As new information or facts are presented, I can reset my approach to align with the updated material. Additionally, I learn best by doing and prefer to be hands on. I love to collaborate, mentor, and teach when appropriate. My academic background is in biology, psychology, and public health. Within the health care industry, I am well-rounded with my professional background including strategy and operations as well as clinical experience, bringing a unique perspective of the industry to clients. Outside of work, my passions lie in food (eating and cooking), reading, traveling, running, spinning, and yoga. When weather permits in Chicago, I love walking around my neighborhood, finding new places to snack and eat ice cream.
