Manages work zone safety, directing traffic flow for construction or events by developing plans, deploying devices (signs, cones, barricades), leading crews (flaggers, technicians), ensuring regulatory compliance (MUTCD, FDOT 600 Series Index), training staff, and handling documentation like daily logs and reports, acting as the key liaison for site safety and traffic management. Review, and implement temporary traffic control plans for projects, coordinating with agencies, law enforcement, and emergency services.Oversee daily setup, maintenance, and removal of traffic control devices; conduct risk assessments and site inspections.train subordinates on procedures and safety, provide daily toolbox talks, and ensure proper use of PPE.Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and traffic regulations (e.g, MUTCD, FDOT).Complete and submit daily logs, work tickets, incident reports, and performance evaluations.Develop strategies for traffic control during emergencies or unexpected incidents-Certification (e.g, FDOT Advanced Certification, ATTSA Flagger Certification)-Strong leadership & communication-Knowledge of traffic laws & safety standards-Analytical & problem-solving skills-Valid driver\'s license & clean record.
