About Trae Welch

With over two decades of work experience, I have developed core competencies in aviation, law, and public service. My mission is to provide safe, efficient, and reliable flying solutions for my clients, as well as legal advice and representation for various types of cases. I am currently the chief pilot at BAM Aviation LLC, a small aviation company that operates a King Air 200. I am also a licensed attorney and the principal of Trae Welch Attorney at Law, that offers solutions to all types of legal problems. As the chief pilot at BAM Aviation LLC, I manage and fly for a small FAR Part 91 aviation department. I keep track of and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the aircraft, as well as the safety of the passengers, by adhering to the highest and best practices when operating the company\'s aircraft. I also coordinate with the owner and other stakeholders to plan and execute the flight operations. As an attorney, I have handled cases in various areas of law, such as family, criminal, civil, and administrative. I have extensive experience in courts, mediation, and legal writing, and I strive to achieve the best outcomes for my clients. I am also an elected metro-council member and a chairman/board member of the Baton Rouge Airport Commission, where I represent and serve the interests of my district and the community.
