   My role takes many forms and involves all activities that support the overall goal of growing the local economy through primary job creation, bringing more outside dollars into the community, and building wealth across all sectors in the county. I lead collaboration across government and private entities to carry out strategic growth initiatives. Work with local businesses to improve the local business climate through regulatory and policy changes and encourage industry expansion by addressing common issues such as workforce or housing needs. I serve as a champion of the county by acting as a central point of contact with new business entities looking to start up or relocate to the area. By facilitating meetings with appropriate stakeholders and officials I strive to ensure the highest chance of success in bringing new businesses and job growth to Logan County. As the director of a 501 C 3 non-profit organization I am also involved and charged with all duties to keep the organization functioning and focused on the our mission. That involves budgeting, managing office functions, growing membership, strategic planning, maintaining relationships with local governments, and working closely with a board of directors to make sure the organization is best prepared to carry out our mission and goals.
