   Develop, manage and administer Continuing Medical Education (CME) accredited education programs within the Providence Health and Services Northwest Washington Region. Represent the hospital and CME program to wide range of organizations and customers. Support CME Mission Statement and assure accreditation documentation is of high quality and in compliance with all standards, guidelines and policies; • Assess attendees’ educational needs and partners with activity chairs and Planning Committee members to develop course content and materials. Plan and coordinate gap analysis and needs assessments;• Work with course planners to ensure course content is current and meets evidence-based practice standards with emphasis on needs identified through data gathering throughout the region;• Create and compiles CME program evaluations. Collaborate with Clinical Analytics to gather pre- and post-conference data to provide evidence of a course’s impact on patient outcomes;• Oversee budget preparation and management for CME Department and programs including grants and other revenue sources;• Train and monitor the CME activities of other hospital staff from other departments, as well as joint sponsor organizations; • Developed and maintain internship program wherein volunteers from the local community college can expand on their classroom training by assisting department personnel with basic office tasks;• Day to day support to the CME Medical Director including correspondence, travel and calendars.
