I oversee multiple enterprise service areas—including Human Resources, Technology Services, Procurement, Budget & Finance, Fleet & Facilities, Grants, 311, and Communications—and support the City Administrator in implementing citywide operational strategies.I provide oversight and accountability for a workforce of 725 employees spanning multiple bureaus, programs, and services, collectively managing a $1 billion operating budget across 11 core funds with complex and varied funding models. I provide policy guidance, lead cross-bureau coordination, and ensure consistent, efficient, and equitable delivery of administrative services across the organization.The central focus of my role is directing the City’s Core Services Realignment, a multi-phase, enterprise-wide restructuring effort designed to streamline operations, modernize service delivery, and improve transparency, accountability, and fiscal stewardship. I lead cross-functional teams in developing centralized service models, evaluating operational and organizational impacts, and establishing clear roles, processes, and performance expectations for shared services. This includes aligning bureau engagement, labor partnership strategies, and change management activities to support successful implementation.I represent Operations in discussions with elected officials, executive leadership, labor partners, and community stakeholders; prepare and present complex operational information; and help resolve sensitive or emerging issues. I supervise leadership across assigned service areas and act on behalf of the City Administrator as needed.
