WORK HISTORY
Education Programs Lead @Canadian Light Source Inc. / Centre canadien de rayonnement synchrotron
Saskatoon, SK, CA
At Canada\'s national synchrotron research facility, the CLS, I supervise development and delivery of educational programming related to research from materials to life sciences to archaeology to agriculture to the environments and much more. STEM education connects to all of these. We have designed national training programs for scientists who wish to add synchrotron techniques to their skill set; professional development for Canadian teachers; and transformational learning opportunities for post secondary and high school students. I am continuing to search for innovative ways for the brightest light in Canada to focus for learning in high school and undergraduate classrooms. Our programs have a national reach and our team members have been invited to present at national and international conferences.
