Led the station’s award-winning coverage of the 2012 Presidential Campaign, “Campaign 2012: Race for the White House,” scoring interviews with then-President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and Republican candidate Mitt Romney. Earned the prestigious Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Television Political Journalism for voter-education efforts. Recognized for communication excellence as an anchor and a writer, providing digital copy for the web version of stories and maintaining an active presence on social media, resulting in a viewership that feels deeply connected with the brand. Hosted a weekly segment and contributed to the production of “Toward A Cancer Free World,” a major client campaign with The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, featuring world-renowned medical experts and researchers.
