   Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security, armored division, surveillance, investigations, and training staff. • Develop and oversee the implementation of a surveillance plan that assesses current threats and vulnerabilities, identifies protection goals consistent with departmental strategic objectives, and details the efficient and cost-effective utilization of security and surveillance resources. • Manage the development, implementation, and compliance of policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security and surveillance, including but not be limited to asset protection, workplace violence prevention, access control systems, and video surveillance. • Will serve as tasked by management in various committees and meetings to assist with overall organizational or departmental strategy, planning, operational improvement, and team enhancement. • Will coordinate volunteers and participate for various activities both internally and externally in order maintain tribal and community relationships. • Formulate and recommend policies, objectives, budgets, and schedules for the department. • Develop, recommend, implement, and monitor surveillance programs and processes. • Conduct quality control audits and evaluate work standards and performance levels ensuring uniformity, effectiveness, and appropriate staffing levels. • Assist in the investigation and documentation of incidents that require special attention and give a full review of your findings. • Provide feedback to those who have been deemed clear for confidential information. • Oversees the camera placement, design, and implementation. • Develop the team by hiring, training, performance reviews, IDP, and promoting career development with the goal of cultivating qualified efficient staff.
