About Tracy McLoone
I\'m an editor and writer with over 25 years of experience spanning academic/scholarly work; technical editing and writing and proposal writing/management; journalism and policy; resumes, cover letters, and application statements; and professional and personal communication. As a consultant I work with non-native speakers of English on things like email etiquette and wording for business and personal communications. I\'m also a college instructor with years of experience teaching in the social sciences and humanities. My favorite courses are interdisciplinary, draw from current events, and integrate class work with the world around us - like the Global Women\'s Leadership Development course I teach through Washington Internship Institute. In addition, I volunteer as an Employment Specialist, working with people who currently lack permanent housing and jobs to help them write resumes and cover letters and complete online job applications.
