About Tracy Marik

Merchandising leader focused on building scalable systems, developing strong teams, and delivering exceptional fresh food experiences in the natural and organic grocery industry. As Senior Director of Merchandising at PCC Community Markets, I lead strategy and execution for several of the organization’s most complex and high-impact categories — Produce, Meat & Seafood, Deli Prepared Foods, Cheese, Cafés, and Bakeries — across sixteen locations. I drive exceptional product quality, uncompromising food safety, and strong financial outcomes while creating a differentiated fresh food experience for our members. In this role, I operate at the intersection of merchandising strategy and organizational development—ensuring that category leadership, supply chain capability, and store execution align to support PCC’s long-term growth.Much of my work centers on developing scalable systems, strengthening supply chain diversity, improving margin and shrink performance, and building merchandising systems that enable stores to execute consistently and effectively.I lead a team of highly capable perishable merchandisers and specialists while partnering closely with operations, finance, marketing, IT, and store leadership to deliver innovative and profitable fresh programs. My work also extends into commissary operations, store development initiatives, packaging strategy, and major organizational change efforts that support the growth and evolution of the business.Over time, my work has increasingly centered on building the systems, structures, and leadership capability that allow organizations to scale. This includes strengthening merchandising infrastructure, advancing cross-functional collaboration, supporting store growth and development, and ensuring commissary and supply chain capabilities evolve alongside the business. I am particularly interested in the intersection of strategy, operations, and people—where thoughtful systems design and strong leadership create durable organizations capable of sustained performance.A central focus of my leadership is developing strong teams and future leaders. I believe durable organizations are built through clear systems, strong culture, and empowered people.I remain deeply committed to continuous improvement—strengthening business systems, developing talent, and continually growing my own leadership capabilities to better serve the organizations and communities I work with.I believe strong businesses are built through clear systems, empowered teams, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
