An accomplished teaching professional (Cert Ed), with excellent people skills and proven ability to build strong working relationships, motivate and coach the workforce and thus achieve successful outcomes. An extremely reliable, self motivated individual with a calm nature and proven organisational skills, backed up by sound administrative and operational abilities. Experience and an extensive knowledge in management, quality assurance, teaching, communications, PR, coaching and mentoring, customer service, problem solving, handling sensitive situations, Safeguarding, ICT and being business and customer focussed. A supportive professional, used to prioritising a demanding workload under pressure and capable of communicating in a tactful, diplomatic manner at all levels. Experience teaching in FE, managing a cross college programme, adult learning centre and training centre. Vast experience in lesson observations, offering feedback, coaching and writing development reports, interviewing staff and learners, writing reports for the Senior Management team in order to drive forward quality and performance. I have a sound knowledge of the new Common Inspection Framework and have recently completed EMFEC Inspection Skills Training.
