My compliance skills and experience within the financial services industry are quite extensive, The following are highlights of my professional qualifications:• Ten years of advanced knowledge and experience monitoring, analyzing and communicating compliance and regulatory rulings from Federal and State agencies relating to the financial services industry;• Advanced knowledge of banking and credit union operations, products, services, state and federal banking regulations, banking policies and procedures, and human resource and labor laws;• Eight years of experience as a corporate trainer and subject matter expert on compliance and regulatory issues including: Bank Secrecy Act, CIP and OFAC, Regulation Z, ECOA, credit reporting, Fair Lending, new accounts (POA, Trusts, Federal Share Insurance (NCUSIF), Regulation E, Truth in Savings, Financial Elder Abuse, IRAs, as well as sales, service, and operational issues;• Five years of experience directly managing and supervising financial service employees, distance learning department, and human resources department;• I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration; and• I am also a 2013 graduate of Western CUNA Management School where I participated in a three year program that emphasized on bank/credit union administration, management, strategic planning, operations, lending, finance, marketing, human resources, economics, business law, communications, leadership, and corporate ethics, personnel law and risk management in the financial services industry.
