About Tracy Bailey
As the Executive Director of Special Education at Aldine ISD, I am responsible for the instruction, transition, and graduation of students with disabilities. I have an EdD in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Houston, and I am passionate about ensuring that every student receives the best possible education and support to achieve their goals and potential.I have developed and implemented effective programs and policies that enhance the quality and equity of special education services. For example, I increased the number of students graduating with certifications and employment, organized the first Transitional Student Job Fair, and reduced the number of students sent to alternative placements. I also have strong skills in management, strategic planning, and special education law. I am always eager to learn, collaborate, and share my expertise with others in the education management industry.
