   Before we were The Gather Community, Gather was a physical space in downtown Santa Cruz. I\'m Tracie Root, creator of The Gather Community, and I was inspired to create a space to bring friends, associates, clients and family together to learn, grow, and experience new things. My mission was to bring people together, for the good of all. Now.we\'ve had some changes in our lives, and what I\'ve realized about getting people together is this - we have got to build community where we can. In The Gather Community, we are thriving by shifting our focus from renting one room in one town, to supporting our members and the community at large online! It\'s been an exciting time of new beginnings and new ideas. Even though we are all excited to get together in person again, we will gratefully be continuing our robust community offerings by holding and promoting online events with members from all around the globe. Tracie Root, creator of The Gather Community, coaches women to be BOLD in their businesses and intheir lives. After a career in corporate America she decided to shift to helping people at a deeper level, while making more time to be Mom to to her teenage kids, wife to Tim, and to prioritize her own dreams for adventure and joy.
