I have an eclectic Pilates background based on Physiological training concepts in school. I like to mix Joseph Pilate\'s work with evolved Pilates styles based on sound current training techniques. By current I don\'t mean fad but safe. It is important to find a teacher that not only knows how to teach but how to modify or intensify moves for a client\'s fitness level. All movement oriented trainers should have a solid foundation in anatomy and physiology as a tool box to work from. The difference between a cookie cutter workout and an authentic workout is in how the instructor perceives a group or client and flows and adapts with the changing needs. Energy and keen awareness are important factors as well. Anyone can memorize a list of exercises but knowledge and understanding are the necessary keys in doing. Results speak for themselves.
