Tracey is an effective, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Commercial and Regulatory Affairs Consultant.Tracey has experience of working within a global team via a Global Advisory Committee Director and is a founder Board Member of the UK Fibre Connectivity Forum.The global trade association is the Utility Technology Council based in Washington DC. The Utilities Technology Council (UTC) is a global association focused on the intersection of telecommunications and utility infrastructure in the USA and Canada. It has sister organisations in Europe (EUTC), Africa (Africa UTC) and Latin America ( UTC America Latina)The UK Fibre Connectivity Forum (UKFCF) is an association of organisations and individuals committed to working together to support and advise the UK Government in delivering policies that will create a fertile environment for the rapid growth of the UK’s digital economy. UKFCF’s vision is to establish affordable, high-speed full-fibre connectivity across all parts of the UK in all commercial and residential buildings, delivered on a level playing field for all stakeholdersTracey has extensive experience of providing cutting edge advice to clients operating within the \"modern economy\" with a heavy reliance upon communication regulation and infrastructure. She has particular expertise in respect of UK and European telecommunications regulation including competition and state aid aspects. She has advised AltNets in U.K. in respect of OFcOM General Condition and Telecoms Security Act compliance. She has taken part in significant high profile due diligence exercises on behalf of funders. She has a wealth of experience in respect of structuring national and international (particularly within Europe, Middle East, Far East and Latin America) high value projects within the telecoms sector. She is used to working alongside the client’s internal and external technical teams, local National Regulatory Authorities and even the client’s local external law firms. She has also advised in respect of projects financed by global institutions such as ERDF, EIB and the World Bank.Tracey has a keen interest in the convergence of telecommunications infrastructure into complementary industry sectors and how digital infrastructure will under pin the successful delivery of the modern economy such as Construction (smart buildings and Smart Cities), Energy (smart grids, electricity, water, wind and gas and the interaction between utilities and telecommunication operators), Critical Infrastructure (hospitals, education, transport (rail) and emergency services)
