   At Straive (formerly known as SPi Global), I currently oversee development and delivery of print and digital editorial product (primarily reading/language arts) for a variety of K-12 educational publishers in accordance with Common Core and state standards. Past projects have focused on areas such as close reading/comprehension, phonics, intervention, differentiated instruction, English language learners, twenty-first century skills, and professional development. My day-to-day responsibilities include• maintaining and tracking schedules and budgets and reporting project progress to key client representatives.• contracting and managing a freelance project staff of writers, editors, and SMEs. • creating and/or supervising the creation of project editorial guidelines and workflow.• performing editorial tasks (editing, supervisory review, etc.) as necessary.• building productive relationships with client contacts and maintaining close communication.• managing quality assurance of final deliverables.• supervising and delegating assignments to lower-level editors.
