As Change and Configuration Controller I am responsible for controlling all workstreams related to engineering changes. I provide support to ensure all changes are managed in accordance to the business process.• Analyse submitted Changes for completeness to support the Change Requestor for submission to the relevant approvers.• Prioritise Change Requests in cooperation with business needs with regards to urgency at the time of submission.• Responsible for Change tracking via the Change Register and status reporting. Recording appropriately comments/justifications for change throughout each stage through to closure.• Ensure that all arising modifications are approved by appropriate authorities and customer.• Provide associated required reports (KPIs) to drive focus on progressing changes. • Ensuring effective configuration tracking of product and project by raising SAP notifications for approved changes; update and track implementation on progress in Configuration Tracker• Build close working relationships with all customers• Update and maintain customers Change Review Actions Tracker.• Update and maintain customers SharePoint.• Support customer Change Review Meetings, managing the agenda and producing minutes of the meetings.• Support department to develop business change system for continued improvement. • To be involved in Hitachi Rail’s staff development and training and participate in PDP procedures.• To adhere to the Hitachi Rail’s Equal Opportunities Policy. • To comply with and implement Hitachi Rail’s Health and Safety policy.• To undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be required
