The Training & Placement Office (General) established in the year 2012 headed by Mr. Saad Hameed aims to provide Placements & Corporate interface for the students of the University. The objective of the cell in to make the students aware about the job opportunities in both Private & Government sector. The cell also imparts training to the students to make them employable and to ensure better conversions in the Placement Drives. In the last six years, Training & Placement Office (General) been successfully able to place around 4509 students of different courses & has invited world class companies from Health Care, Social Sector, Information & Technology, Manufacturing, Media, Hospitality, Services, Banking & Finance, Law, Engineering etc.

   Aligarh Muslim University has an active Training and Placement Cell. The cell looks after the various training and placement activities which are undertaken by the TPO Officer, Departmental TPOs and student coordinators of the cell. The members of the cell, students from all the departments, are selected through personal interviews conducted by the faculty members of the cell. Besides creating different job avenues for the students, the cell ensures that students are well equipped to meet the requirements of the industry.
