ABOUT TIM DOUGLAS
As a planner and engagement lead for the Healthy Waters Plan at the City of Vancouver, I have been working for over two years to develop a long-range strategy for sewage and rainwater management that integrates the One Water Approach, a holistic and systemic framework that considers all water as a valuable resource. With a Master\'s in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UBC, I have a strong background in policy analysis, stakeholder relations, and transportation planning. I am passionate about finding innovative solutions that improve equity, accessibility, and resilience in cities. I have led and supported multiple engagement initiatives that involve First Nations and governmental partners, experts and stakeholders, and the public, to ensure diverse and inclusive perspectives are reflected in the decision-making process.
