ABOUT DOT COLAGIOVANNI

In today\'s networking paradigm an automated system may make the first introduction, rather than a warm handshake or a smiling face over Zoom. What I\'d like my network to know about me is that I value collaboration with my work colleagues and mentoring my staff as the most important components of my job. I have been honored to be recognized for my role as a group leader in Toxicology. As a Senior Director of Toxicology at Pfizer I advanced novel small molecule oncology targets through nonclinical development to NDA. With over 25 years of experience in biotech and pharma, I participated in the development of medicines to treat infections, oncology, cystic fibrosis, and pain indications. I shepherded numerous biologics and small molecules into the clinic with robust toxicology packages. I am a Diplomate in the American Board of Toxicology and a board certified Medical Technologist, with a strong background in regulatory toxicology, immunotoxicology, and hematotoxicology. In previous roles, I led scientific teams to create new and novel formulations for maximum delivery of cannabinoids, supported the clinical development of a first-in-class GSNOR inhibitor, and contributed to multiple publications and patents. I am passionate about helping people and improving their quality of life through innovative and safe medicines. I also enjoy mentoring and developing the next generation of toxicologists and scientists, as well as fostering cross-cultural communication and collaboration.
