As President of Virginia Peninsula Community College, I lead with vision, urgency, and a deep belief in the power of education to transform lives and communities. Located in the heart of Virginia’s historic and innovation-rich Peninsula region, VPCC serves over students annually across two campuses and multiple off-site learning centers.Since 2021, I’ve guided the college through financial stabilization, enrollment recovery, and cultural renewal—launching new academic and short-term skilled trades program, new athletics programs, revitalizing the performing arts, opening new satellite centers, and strengthening partnerships with business, healthcare, and K–12 education.I’ve led a bold reimagining of what a modern community college can be—grounded in student success, regional impact, and a Culture of Care that includes new wellness initiatives, leadership development, and equity-minded strategy. VPCC is now a more agile, trusted, and opportunity-driven institution—ready for its next 60 years of service.
