As a Java Spring Boot developer at Accenture, I am currently working on a high-scale OTT (Over-The-Top) media streaming platform that caters to millions of users. The project involves building robust backend systems to support a variety of features, including live TV channel streaming, program and event metadata management, cloud-based recording and playback, subscription and entitlement handling, and Video on Demand (VOD) services with resume and bookmark capabilities. Additionally, the platform supports user profile management, parental controls, and personalized content recommendations driven by analytics.In this role, I am responsible for designing and developing scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, integrating Kafka for asynchronous communication, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and TeamCity. I also focus on maintaining high code quality through unit testing with JUnit and mocking frameworks like Mockito. My work involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-performance delivery of backend services.
