About Toufic Alayyash
Toufic Alayyash is the Founder and Creative Director of AYYA Design Haus, an interior architecture studio based in Chicago with roots in Dubai and Beirut. With nearly two decades of international experience, Toufic brings a visionary and intuitive approach to design, leading projects from inception - where the DNA of each space is formed - all the way to completion and handover. Born in Beirut and trained in interior architecture at the Institute of Fine Arts, he graduated in 2008 and began his career designing high-end residential and commercial spaces across the Middle East. After years of working within companies, he founded AYYA as a collaborative and personal platform. At its core, AYYA is built to reflect individuality and challenge convention through design.His work carries the influence of the cities that shaped him. Beirut taught him resilience and contrast. Dubai taught him to innovate. Chicago gave him a sense of home and the freedom to grow. Today, he leads a global, multidisciplinary team defined by collaboration and shared vision. At AYYA, no one works for him. Everyone work with him. Together, they design immersive spaces and products that reflect identity, invite emotion, and leave a timeless impression
